willem van den oetelaar,
hatchery coaching manager
With a Masters degree in Animal Sciences and a specialization in Animal Health and Reproduction, I have a great drive and opportunity to implement and apply fundamental research to develop innovative incubation techniques and customer driven product developments. I use this background and the vast knowledge acquired world-wide over the last 10 years to bring profound and hands-on experience in global hatchery management to HatchTech customers. HatchTech is an innovative company that allows me to make groundbreaking steps in the poultry sector, I think that’s extraordinary interesting.
In my role as Hatchery Coaching Manager, I strengthen the HatchTech Coaching Team that also includes Dr Donna Hill and Mr. Paul Oomen M.Sc. Both are experienced professionals in the poultry industry. We organize training programs where we educate hatchery staff in the latest hatchery quality standards and procedures to ensure consistent and optimum product performance. We also provide remote and onsite coaching services to support our partners in meeting today’s challenging incubation demands and maximizing their hatchery output.
The current market is calling for producers to reduce antibiotic use, and hatcheries need to produce at the lowest possible cost price in order to survive. To achieve this, hatcheries are asking for ever larger incubators. In such large machines, it becomes more difficult to guarantee an optimum, uniform climate. However, this does not apply to HatchTech. With our Laminar Airflow technology, Uniform Embryo Activation and Gas Sealed Incubation, we deliver optimum growth conditions for every chick.
HatchTech offers a range of services to coach your staff and to ensure that you get the very best out of your hatchery, and the highest returns on your investments. For more information, please contact us at: coaching@hatchtech.nl
