The way to ensure optimal egg handling is to: 

• Keep nests clean
• Collect eggs regularly
• Keep clean and dirty eggs separate 
• Use correct storage temperature
• Keep eggs dry and prevent egg condensation at all times
• Handle eggs with care to prevent cracks.
