After the chicks have hatched, it is key to prevent dehydration and to provide the most stress-free environment possible. Maintaining the ideal body temperature is essential during this phase. 

After hatch, make sure to:

• Match pull time with actual hatch time
• Provide optimum and uniform storage conditions
• Provide optimum and uniform transport conditions
• Give chicks feed and water as soon as possible
• Create a stress-free environment
