The human factor is very important in preventing contamination and cross contamination in the hatchery. 

Important points to pay attention to:

• Do not refuse floor eggs, but do not set them either

• Draw up a separate plan for batches with a high contamination risk

• Prevent water coming into contact with the eggs at all times

• Ensure a minimum of 12% weight loss of the egg during incubation
