'There was no official research department when I started at HatchTech in 2005. I set it up with my colleague Roos Molenaar, who was completing a PhD project at Wageningen University at the same time as me. During this type of course, you study part-time at Wageningen University and work the rest of the time at HatchTech. Two of our colleagues are doing the same right now. I think it’s great that this company invests so much in knowledge and research.'
