Cold winter weather can introduce cold outside air into the hatchery. The majority of hatchery managers can control the air intake temperature, but controlling the relative humidity is not always possible. Not using humidification is out of the question, as relative humidity is crucial for correct heat transfer and therefore key for superior incubation.
