The HatchCare basket is also used to transport the chicks. So there is no stressful transfer to a different container. And no passage through counting and sorting machines.

Feed & Water

Chicks need access to feed and water as soon as they hatch. A good start leads in turn to better chick length. 

No cracks, easier pipping

In the HatchCare system, eggs are placed in a tray. This prevents them from bumping into each other and developing cracks. Placing the eggs point-down makes it easier for the chicks to hatch out. 

Laminar Airflow

A guarantee of optimum conditions throughout the unit. Uniform embryo temperatures guarantee higher hatching ratios and excellent chick quality.

Light

There is no dark start to life for these chicks. In HatchCare, newly hatched chicks see the light straight away – in both a literal and a figurative sense. This also avoids stress when the hatcher door is opened. 

Separation from eggshells

Thanks to the design of the tray, chicks are quickly separated from their shells. The chicks have more room to move, and can do so in a cleaner environment.
